Casalejo, an authentic finca-style house, is nestled on a 7,600 m2 plot of land on the fringes of the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama nature reserve in the charming village of Canillas de Aceituno. With merely 5 other houses in the vicinity, Casalejo offers a tranquil retreat where you can fully immerse yourself in peace and serenity.

House layout

Casalejo boasts a spacious living room with double doors that open onto a large covered terrace, offering a breathtaking view over Lake Viñuela. The high, beamed ceiling enhances the room’s airy, open feel.

The kitchen, adorned in a traditional style, is equipped with all modern conveniences, including a 90cm gas oven and hob, double sinks, and a built-in dishwasher.

Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining room provides direct access to the covered terrace, making al fresco dining a breeze.

Casalejo comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one of which is separate and the other an en-suite associated with the third bedroom.

All mod cons

Casalejo exudes a typical Spanish atmosphere with its terracotta flooring, high wooden beamed ceilings, and windows complete with interior wooden shutters. The house is also fitted with an Internet connection and a satellite dish.

For hot summer days… but also for cooler winter nights

The entire house is equipped with climate control for the hot summer season, and underfloor heating has been installed in the living room, kitchen, and bathroom for those chillier winter evenings. The living room also features a wood-burning stove.

Terrace

The 54m2 covered terrace spans the entire length of Casalejo and provides a wonderful spot to relax in the shade and take in the surrounding landscape, the garden, and, of course, Lake Viñuela.

Swimming pool and garden

One side of Casalejo features an 8.5m x 4.5m swimming pool with Roman steps, two terraces, and a beautifully landscaped garden filled with trees and plants. On the other side of the house, another terrace offers a dining area amidst plants, flowers, and even some fruit trees.
